1. Acceptance

By accessing or using Zentity, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

Zentity is a privacy-preserving identity verification platform currently provided as a pre-audit beta. The service uses zero-knowledge proofs, fully homomorphic encryption, and cryptographic commitments to enable identity verification without storing or exposing sensitive personal information.

As a pre-audit beta, features may change, break, or be removed without notice.

3. Account Registration

  • You may create an account using a passkey, password (OPAQUE), or wallet signature (EIP-712)
  • Social sign-in (Google, GitHub) is available for account linking only — it cannot be used to create a new account
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials
  • One account per person; do not share credentials
  • You must provide accurate information during registration

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for fraudulent identity claims or impersonation
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer cryptographic proofs or extract other users' data
  • Abuse the verification system (automated submissions, rate limit circumvention)
  • Use the service to violate any applicable law or regulation
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure
  • Attempt to access accounts or data belonging to other users

5. Intellectual Property

  • The Zentity source code is available under the O'Saasy License
  • The Zentity name, logo, and branding are proprietary
  • User-generated cryptographic proofs and credentials belong to the user
  • Use of the software and its derivatives is governed by the O'Saasy License

6. Privacy

Your use of the service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review it to understand how we handle your data.

7. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

As pre-audit beta software, you should expect bugs, downtime, and breaking changes. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, data preservation, or backward compatibility.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ZENTITY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION.

Total liability is limited to the amount you have paid for the service (currently $0 for the free beta).

9. Termination

  • We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these terms
  • You may delete your account at any time from your dashboard
  • Upon termination, your data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Material changes will be communicated via the website or email.
